On July 9, 2025, President Donald J. Trump announced the formation of a Presidential Delegation to attend the World Expo in Osaka, Japan, scheduled for July 19, 2025. The delegation will be led by Secretary Scott Bessent of the United States Department of the Treasury. Included in the delegation are U.S. Ambassador to Japan George Glass, Secretary of Labor Lori Chavez-DeRemer, Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau, and Commissioner General William E.
